Attending the MVP Summit this year was again, an incredible experience—one filled with deep technical sessions, meaningful conversations, and a renewed sense of community. As always, it’s inspiring to connect with fellow MVPs and the product teams who are actively shaping the tools we use every day.

One of the highlights for me was getting the chance to speak directly with David Ortinau, the MAUI Project Manager at Microsoft. We had an open and honest conversation about the current state of .NET MAUI, shared feedback from the trenches, and discussed where the platform is heading. It’s always refreshing to see how receptive the MAUI team is to real-world developer input.

We also had the opportunity to chat with James Montemagno, which turned into a broader discussion on mobile development, including MAUI, UNO Platform, and the shifting landscape of cross-platform tools. It was great to bounce around thoughts on how these frameworks are evolving, where they shine, and where there’s still room for improvement.

And of course a lot of AI (big thanks to Michael Washington for the inspiring enthusiasm) 🪄🪄🪄
